Priyanka Kandwal brings out the nuances of her character well, sometimes outshining a patient Prajwal, who grows into the role well. Before the climax, however, especially till the interval, Neenaade Naa is an engaging watch. Though ‘adapted’ from a real story, films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and co do flash before the eyes. The script loses its way towards the end. Neenaade Naa suffers from a few drawbacks as well. There is Arjun Janya, who loves nothing better than to blow the eardrums out even as they find rhythm and melody hidden in the mayhem.įinally, there is Srikanth, another promising writer, who brings in that youthful freshness while still clinging to cliches and stock phrases in the dialogues. There is Prajwal Devaraj, who holds lot of promise a la Kote, but has sometimes let himself, and his fans, down with some mediocre films. There are Avinash, Pavithra Lokesh, Doddanna, K S Sridhar and others who hold up their ends well.

Younger son Pranam shakes a leg with elder bro Prajwal ahead of an anticipated debut. There are two proven performers in Ankita Maheshwari and Priyanka Kandwal, who are known for their turns in Na Aana Iss Des Lado and Pavitra Rishta, respectively. The film is Dynamic Devaraj’s first foray into production – a family affair while at it too. The story comes from the director’s ‘real life’, offering another ‘fresh’ look at the dynamics of love and friendship. The title brings to mind the beautiful, melodious number from Murali Meets Meera, paying ode to unconditional love and surrender etc. Murli Meets Meera is a love story sans sleaze and compulsive romantic film watchers may consider giving the film a try.Cast: Prajwal Devaraj, Priyanka Kandwal, Bullet Prakash and others Lighting and camera work add weightage to the film. Only the dubbing artiste fails in adding value to the character.Īctors like Achyutanand and Ashwath Ninasam have hardly anything to do.Ībhiman Roy's music is soothing, but it is not compelling enough to make way into your mp3 players. Reema Vohra who has played significant roles in Shourya and Gubbi, gets a meaty role this time too. Harshika has a small role to play, but she makes her presence felt. It is the leading ladies who come out with fine performances. Prajwal continues to play the lover boy and does an decent job. In fact the lead characters are better off humouring you.Ĭoming to the lead actors, the casting is good. But while Sharan and Sadhu Kokhila don't impress much. The film aims at being a romantic comedy and has A-list comedians on board. And with this film too having the same plot, it is sure to remind you of Jab we Met and Anjaana Anjaani Attempt to suicide episodes now seem to be the film industry's latest love catalyst. The narration is different and it does manage to hold your curiosity but with every twist entangling itself you feel you have seen this sequence before.
